Hubby's 50th...

Hello Friends!

As some of you know already, my hubby turned "50"!  Woo Hoo, and did we have a PARTY!!  LOL!

What a great time with family and friends.  He really enjoyed himself.  We made all his favorite foods and birthday cake.  Which was strawberry shortcake.  The shortcake made from Bisquick.  My bestie made it and it was DELICIOUS!!!!

This is about the only crafty thing I made for his party, the invitation...

He requested black and red and diamond plate.
I love my new Sizzix Big Shot and
the  diamond flip it die.

FYI - when you want to mail a square card, put it in a rectangular envelope.  (Learned that little ditty from a very helpful little lady at the post office.)  I had to pay 68 cents for each of these invites because I put them in a square shaped envelope.  UGH!

He received so many wonderful, funny cards and gifts. Especially
his AARP card!  LOL!  We have already used it at
the movie theater for his small popcorn and soda for $5.50. 

I am in the process of making a photo book off all the wonderful pictures from his BIG day!
